Supporters of Wallingford Rowing Club's Juniors chose to endure mud and rain on the river banks of Pangbourne last Saturday for Pangbourne's annual Junior Sculls over the 2750metre course. They were rewarded with witnessing some excellent racing and a high standard of rowing and sculling.

In division 1 the two boys' J16 coxless quads came in 1st and 2nd with a time difference between the two crews of just 0.23 of a second! The Walker sisters teamed up in the WJ2x scull and came in 2nd.

In division 2 the three girls' J15 coxed quads came in 2nd, 5th & 7th (the latter comprising of Freya Goddard, Honor James and Alice Meads in their debut race). WJ18 single scullers of Alice Walker (Silver) and Katie Metalli came in 2nd and 5th respectively, and J16 single scullers of Alex Lyons & Tim Waller were awarded Silver & Bronze medals respectively (again just 0.22 of a second between these two boys!).
